Nestled in the heart of East Vancouver, Andina Brewing Company’s venue stands surrounded by the majestic mountains of British Columbia, the beauty of the Pacific Ocean and the towering dinosaur-like cranes of Port Metro Vancouver. The eye catching yellow building radiates an undeniable South American vibe melding seamlessly with the laid-back and eclectic neighbourhood of East Vancouver.
Through its Andean inspired tones, accents, and artwork, Andina’s guests will partake in the spirit and culture of South America. The walls are lined with beautiful photographs commissioned especially for the Tasting Lounge, which also showcases the rich artisanal heritage of its people – from traditional art crafts, clay pots and woven baskets… All of which come together in a vibrant burst of colours, flavours and exquisite textures, much like with the rest of the creatively chosen details. Even the food is beautiful to look at, with colourful ingredients and served in hand carved wooden trays!

At Andina our wish is to provide an experience that celebrates the diversity of our wonderful South American and British Columbian ingredients prepared with imagination and passion. From the creative repertoire of Ceviches - traditional Andean dish, where raw foods are “cooked” in lime juice-, to intriguing white corn patties and Platachos (our own version of nachos made with fried green plantain chips), your palette is sure to take a delightful journey through some of the most delectable flavours!
What is Ceviche?
Ceviche preparation and consumption is practically a religion in the coastal South and Central America. In Andina you will have a ceviche lineup that includes Peruvian, Colombian, Ecuadorian and vegetarian versions - unique recipes you will find only in our Tasting Lounge!
Andina’s Tasting Lounge is the best place to enjoy our freshly brewed beer straight from the tap. Our drink menu includes along with Andina’s selection of artisanal beers, local craft cider, a couple of original South American style cocktails, as well as red and white Chilean and Argentine wine.
And for non-alcohol drinkers, designated drivers and kids (yes because children are allowed in our Tasting Lounge as long as they are accompanied by an adult!) we have a delicious Colombian drink called Agua de Panela. Its literal translation means "panela water" made from raw, unrefined whole-cane paste dissolved in water and 100% organic. It can be served hot–usually with spices like cinnamon or cloves–or cold with lemon, tasting like a super refreshing iced-tea-ish beverage!
TASTING LOUNGE FAQs
Do you take reservations?
Yes we do! Yes we do! Everyone is welcome at Andina Brewing Company and if you have a plan to visit us with a larger group, please call us so we can accommodate your party. Seating is usually on a first come first serve basis and subject to occupancy limits. If we reach our capacity and there is a wait, we’re happy to take down your name and number and send you a text message when your table is ready. In the meantime, have a beer or browse our merchandising display!
Do you have service to the table?
We are a self serve tasting lounge. Walk in, order beer or food at the bar and then sit and enjoy! Drinks and food are ordered and paid for at the bar. If you order food from our delicious menu you’ll receive a number and our staff will bring it to your table when it’s ready.
Can I bring my kids to Andina?
Children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Remember that anyone wishing to purchase alcohol must be 19 or over, and provide two pieces of ID.
Can I book your Tasting Lounge for an event?
Andina’s beautiful and spacious Tasting Lounge is available for special functions on Sundays from 5pm to closing time at 11pm and Mondays to Thursdays from 11 am to 11 pm. The Tasting Lounge may be available for rental outside these hours under special conditions and limitations. Larger groups (35 or more) may be accommodated any day of the week in our spacious production area. The raw, post-industrial 2,000 square foot space, next to our fermenting tanks and equipment, is a great alternative to more informal events, reception style, and the perfect reflection of what our brewery is all about.
